Chitral July 16, 2017: At least seven people were killed while seven others were critically injured when a passenger jeep plunged into Chitral river near Chew bridge in Billch village in Chitral here on Monday.

According to reports, the passenger jeep with registration number  AJK1373, carrying as many as 14 people, was on its way from Ankari to Chitral when the driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle and fell down into the river killing seven people while critically injuring seven others. The injured have been shifted to the DHQ hospital Chitral.

Meanwhile dead body of a woman has been recovered while search and rescue is work is still underway.
