SKARDU, Oct 5: Two persons were killed as jeep fell into a deep gorge in Baltistan division on Thursday, police sources told The High Asia Herald.
According to Syed Ahmed Shah, SHO Olding police station, the jeep on way to Skardu from Olding in Kharmang District skidded off the road and fell into 500 feet deep Indus River.
Two of the passengers, including the driver, died while another passenger escaped unhurt.
The bodies were fished out by the local people and handed over to their heirs.
