Pay Less, Drive More — Pakistan Welcomes the New Foton high-roof Van

Unigreen Automobiles has introduced Pakistan’s latest Foton high-roof commercial van

Unigreen Automobiles has introduced Pakistan’s latest Foton high-roof commercial van, a spacious 16-seat vehicle designed for daily urban transport, long-distance routes, and heavy commercial use.

Powered by the durable Mitsubishi-engineered 2.4L 4G69 engine, the van delivers approximately 136–150 hp and over 200 Nm of torque, supported by a 5-speed manual transmission and rear-wheel drive — a preferred layout for carrying full passenger loads on challenging routes. Its high-roof extended cabin, combined with a wheelbase of over 3000 mm, ensures stability and comfort, while fuel efficiency ranges between 8–11 km/l depending on road conditions and load. The van measures around 5380 mm in length, 1920 mm in width, and 2285 mm in height, offering generous space for both passengers and cargo. Safety and performance are reinforced through front ventilated disc brakes, rear drum brakes, and a high-capacity cooling system tailored for Pakistan’s climate. Unigreen Automobiles is offering a 3-year or 100,000 km warranty, alongside its first dedicated service center in Islamabad, with plans to expand support facilities to major Pakistani cities . Industry insiders indicate that the upcoming Foton high-roof model is poised to debut in Pakistan at a price point far below its Japanese competitors. Preliminary market assessments suggest it could be priced up to nearly 50% lower than a brand-new Toyota Hiace high-roof — though the official price will only be confirmed at the time of launch. Early commercial buyers will also receive complimentary comprehensive commercial insurance through EFU, covering accident damage, theft, fire, and third-party liability. With its strong engineering, extended body, and dependable support system, the Foton high-roof commercial van positions itself as an ideal choice for school transport, employee shuttles, tourism services, city-to-city travel, and large-family journeys. Test drives and vehicle previews are now open at Unigreen’s Islamabad facility, with pricing and launch details to be announced soon.
