Pak-Saudi investment prospects discussed

A former Pakistani minister met his Saudi counterpart on Thursday and discussed the possibilities of investment and collaboration between the two countries in various projects.

Muhammad Azfar Ahsan, former Minister for Investment of Pakistan and founder of Nutshell Group, met Khalid Al-Falih, Investment Minister of Saudi Arabia at his office in Riyadh, the statement added.  

The meeting focused on investment prospects across diverse sectors such as mining and agriculture. A project on food security was specifically discussed.

They emphasized the need for consistency in partnerships to navigate complex geopolitical dynamics and foster regional stability.

Ahsan and Khalid expressed optimism about the prospects for deeper cooperation and emphasized strengthening the relationship between the two countries by exploiting untapped avenues and fostering sustainable development.
